Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Rivington & Blackrod High School. The successful candidate will have experience of working with students with special needs, including those with Educational Healthcare Plans and with their families and supporting agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working directly with DLD students within the resource provision, implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom.
  • Assisting the teacher in the planning, management and preparation of resources, including acquiring/using specialist knowledge in particular areas.
  • Supervising the resource provision during the absence of a Lead teacher / Level 4 Teaching Assistant.
