Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Manager to join our Audit team at Johnston Carmichael. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, while also coaching and training our audit team to ensure their continued growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage the effective completion of audit work for designated clients, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting, providing high-level technical and audit planning advice to clients.
- Assist Audit Partners and Directors with audit planning work and local reporting, while managing and supporting a team of audit staff to achieve their goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the audit team to ensure audit work is handled efficiently and effectively from start to finish, in accordance with our firm's audit policy and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Be the principal contact for larger clients on day-to-day audit matters, building effective relationships with client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm.
- Experience in leading on-site audit teams and practical experience of using software systems in the preparation of audit files, financial statements, and audit working papers.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting, with the ability to provide high-level technical and audit planning advice to clients.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and train audit staff to ensure their continued growth and development.
