Job Summary:

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Duty Solicitor to join its well-established criminal defence team in south London. As a Duty Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a busy caseload, attending police stations and Magistrates' Courts, advising and representing clients in a variety of crime cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex crime cases, including general and serious crime matters such as motoring offences, assault, murder, fraud, and money laundering.
  • Attend police stations and Magistrates' Courts to advise and represent clients.
  • Prepare cases of varying levels of severity for trial.
  • Work collaboratively with the criminal defence team to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • UK qualified solicitor with a background in criminal law.
  • Duty accredited.
  • Experience working in a Legal 500 firm is highly desirable.
