We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Service Desk Team Leader to join our team at Queens University. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT Service Desk team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support services to our customers.
You will lead a team of Computer Assistants, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to ensure efficient resolution of IT-related issues and exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage and motivate staff will be crucial in achieving our team's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the IT Service Desk team

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Academic or vocational qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Significant recent relevant experience within an IT Service Desk/IT support environment
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking principles
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
