Mine Extraction Specialist

The Minerals Mine Worker is a critical role that involves extracting crude materials from mines. This position requires operating heavy and mobile equipment, monitoring performance, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting in the mine environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate underground trucks and loaders to transport materials
- Conduct drilling operations to extract materials
- Perform shot firing operations to extract materials
- Install mine services such as cables, water pipe work, and ventilation ducting
- Assist with maintenance operations to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
- Participate in mine cycle safety work, including roof scaling, roof bolting, and mesh installation
- Communicate with coworkers and management to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in mining operations
- Ability to operate modern diesel equipment and perform manual tasks
- Comfortable working in an underground environment
- Willingness to undertake a Police Record Check due to the nature of handling explosives
