Job Title: Lecturer in Barbering

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Barber/Hairdressing lecturer to join our Hair & Beauty team at the Lewes campus.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a lecturer to deliver practical and theory lessons and monitor students' progress as part of the tutoring role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Monitor and assess student progress
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials
  • Contribute to the development of the Hair & Beauty team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good range of experience and qualifications within the hairdressing industry
  • A teaching qualification (desirable)
  • An assessors award (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of the hairdressing industry and working within industry
  • An effective communicator
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Commitment to further professional development
