We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Agency Nurse to join our team at My Care Business. As an Agency Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, providing high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to service users, based on their individual needs and in consultation with their care team.
  • Assume responsibility for the nursing services provided by the home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.
  • Continuously evaluate the quality of care given and regularly reassess the needs of service users, making changes as necessary to achieve planned goals.
  • Ensure that residents are safeguarded from abuse and neglect, and that safeguarding policies are fully implemented.
  • Administer and order medicines as required by service users and in accordance with the home's policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with service users, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Engage in nurse care planning and implementation of care plans, working closely with the care team to achieve planned goals.
  • Work within the NMC codes of conduct and scope of practice, and within the home's policies and procedures.
  • Continuously review and develop your nursing practices, contributing to the enhancement of patient care skills.
  • Support and supervise care staff and nursing assistants as needed.
  • Attend and participate in relevant staff meetings.
  • Make effective use of the home's resources.
  • Work in partnership with service users, families, and friends to plan, implement, and review care plans.
