Job Title: Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mental Health Social Worker to join our team in Exeter and East Social Care Community Mental Health Team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, delivering high-quality social care services to individuals with mental health conditions. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing support plans to meet the needs of service users.

You will work closely with other statutory and voluntary sector organizations to provide a comprehensive and person-centered approach to assessment, support planning, safeguarding, and review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering a social care pathway in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014
  • Providing a personalized and person-centered approach to assessment, support planning, safeguarding, and review
  • Working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary sector organizations
  • Commitment to involving service users and carers in the delivery of a high-quality and equitable service
About You

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW, BA Hons, MA or equivalent) who is registered to practice with Social Work England (previously HCPC).

You will have completed the Assessed First Year in (post-qualifying) Social Work practice, if appropriate, and can demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Bringing a comprehensive working knowledge of the issues currently impacting on social care delivery, you will be up-to-date with policy and practice development.
