Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Chef at Barchester Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the UK with over 224 homes and hospitals across the country. As a Bank Chef, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus around them.

Main Duties
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus that cater to the needs of residents
  • Work with fresh seasonal food to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes
  • Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
  • Work within budget and complete regular audits
  • Manage stock control and assist in leading and motivating a team
