As a vital member of our engineering team, you will engage in both internal and external maintenance activities, focusing on preventative, reactive, and corrective measures for our operational equipment.


Your primary objective will be to enhance the reliability, availability, and capacity of our machinery, adhering to manufacturing excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass:

  • Improving site operational efficiency, project execution, and minimizing downtime through effective management and implementation of improvement strategies, while driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Collaborating with the SHEQ team to address health and safety, environmental, and quality assurance issues, ensuring all compliance checks are meticulously completed and documented.
  • Providing a highly skilled maintenance service for all operational machinery and facility infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with external contractors for reactive maintenance and scheduling planned service maintenance, including overseeing contractor activities to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Completing planned maintenance tasks through a Computer Maintenance Management System, ensuring timely execution and adherence to standards.
  • Actively participating in projects and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting modifications in training and operational practices.
  • Utilizing Frontline for all maintenance and inventory management activities.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in maintenance within a heavy industrial or waste management context.
  • Knowledge of various mechanical drive systems, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes, and transmissions.
