We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of maintenance and repair services to our plant equipment and facilities infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive and proactive maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
  • Liaise with external contractors for reactive maintenance and schedule planned service maintenance
  • Follow and complete planned maintenance (PMs, RMs & CMs) via a Computer Maintenance Management System
  • Actively participate in projects, continuous improvement, and modern manufacturing principles
  • Assist in the administration of the CMMS (Frontline) to ensure its accuracy at all times

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) qualifications
  • IOSH - Managing Safely
  • Previous maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or waste environment
  • Familiar and worked with continuous improvement (CI) - Lean, Kan Ban, OEE, TOC, and other activities
  • Knowledge of various mechanical drive arrangements, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes, and transmissions
