About the Role

Arm Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Release Engineering Expert to join our Software Engineering group. As a member of the System Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to enable the evolution of Computing Infrastructure using Neoverse CSS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the release engineering process for production firmware releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain release plans in collaboration with stakeholders, including branch management and software version control.
  • Provide tested releases of production-quality downstream firmware to partners, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
  • Document release notes and communicate effectively with internal and external collaborators.
  • Develop and maintain CI pipelines for downstream firmware release processes, ensuring efficient and automated testing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in release management and automation of product-quality system software.
  • Hands-on experience with Yocto SDK and software building and build management.
  • Familiarity with QA of platform software for server platforms and defect triaging.
  • Experience with open-source projects such as Linux Kernel, TF-A, EDK II, and OpenBMC.
