Burberry Limited is seeking a talented Sourcing Assistant to join our Head Office in London. This role will actively assist the sourcing team in executing supply chain strategy and coordinating departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system with cost information.
  • Monitor and maintain data accuracy within the system, ensuring seamless communication with vendors.
  • Collaborate with vendors to confirm data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process price file queries from finance and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with Product Development to obtain BOM information and ensure smooth production.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, ensuring they are informed about key dates and deadlines.
  • Prepare data on a routine and ad-hoc basis to identify potential issues affecting on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Organized, efficient, self-motivated, and solution-oriented individual.
  • Ability to react to change and adapt to new situations.
  • PLM/SAP knowledge is a plus.
