**Job Summary**

Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for undertaking and completing detailed inspections of all components using the latest criteria and inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Creation and modification of component overhaul/repair routes within SAP as required.
  • Ensure accurate recording of information, including P/N, S/N, and condition, in the shop repair order and on the LTLGS SAP system.
  • Perform accurate measurements of components as required due to workload.
  • Work to production priority lists, including ASPEN and milestone dates provided by production control.
  • Interface with technical engineering and other production departments as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the section manager, team leader, or leading hand.
  • Train and mentor other team personnel within the role, subject to your qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

  • Aerospace apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Maths and English GCSE A-C grades equivalent.
  • 'A' Level or equivalent qualification in an engineering subject.
  • Extensive experience within an aerospace engineering or equivalent environment.
  • Previous mechanical component inspection background.
  • PC literate.
  • Previous experience working within an SAP computer system.
  • Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Previous practical experience using imperial measurement tools.
  • Previous knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites.
  • Shift work, including Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday.
  • Further training required.
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the UK.
