About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist DC team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients, including corporate sponsors, trustee boards, and governance committees.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on Defined Contribution Pensions, encompassing all aspects of plan design, implementation, and administration.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on work produced by junior consultants and analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of portfolio performance, providing actionable insights to clients and contributing to their overall investment strategy.
- Collaborate effectively with internal Mercer teams to address DC-related issues and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand our service offerings to existing clients, driving revenue growth and strengthening client relationships.
- Develop new business through networking, relationship management, and a deep understanding of market trends.
- Contribute to the team's strategic direction by participating in discussions, sharing insights, and implementing effective business strategies.
Your Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Defined Contributions Consultancy, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of DC pension regulations and best practices.
- Strong governance experience, with a track record of ensuring compliance and mitigating risk within DC plan environments.
- Professional qualifications such as PMI, FIA/FFA, or CFA are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated project management skills and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Experience in sales and business development, with a proven ability to generate new leads and secure contracts.
