Poultry Farm Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Poultry Farm Manager at Stafforce. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for overseeing the poultry operations across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day tasks across all three sites, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Order feed for all sites, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
  • Organize staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
  • Complete all relevant audits and paperwork, maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with veterinarians for advice on bird welfare and ordering antibiotics/vaccines, ensuring the health and well-being of the flock.
  • Oversee farm maintenance, ensuring the facilities and equipment are in good working order.
  • Cover egg collection duties during staff holidays, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruption.
Requirements:
  • Manage and work as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Understand bird welfare, demonstrating a commitment to animal care and well-being.
  • Work in a professional, flexible, and proactive manner, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
Qualifications and Benefits:
