Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Teach360, working with a PRU based in Waltham Forest.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with young people with challenging behaviour to help them overcome their challenges
- Provide support and mentoring to students in need
- Act as a positive role model for young people, setting a good example for them
- Provide one-to-one support or group support for small groups
- Support or lead intervention groups targeted at students with challenging behaviour problems or SEMH issues
- Maintain close contact with class teachers and other members of the behavioural teaching team to inform them of student progress
Our PRU provides a service for children who are not able to attend a mainstream school due to their disabilities.
Frequently, if a pupil needs more care and support than their school can provide, they are referred to our provision.
Students Who Attend Our PRU- Those who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school or are at risk of being permanently excluded for behaviour reasons
- Those with emotional or behavioural difficulties, including anger issues, mental health issues, and school phobias/refusals
- Those subjected to severe bullying on a regular basis
- Those with special educational needs (SEN) or in the process of getting a diagnosis
- Those with long-term or short-term illnesses
