Transformation Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director of Transformation to join our leadership team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious transformation programme forward, embedding a culture of continuous improvement that is essential to supporting our Trust strategy.
Main Responsibilities:- Drive the Trust transformation programme in support of the Trust strategy, engaging the organisation to improve quality, safety, performance, and financial sustainability.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the improvement methodology, leading on building a culture of continuous improvement in the Trust and organisational ownership of the transformation programme.
- Line manage the Royal Academy of Improvement and oversee the Programme Management Office function of the organisation, including managing the resources and associated budget for those staff reporting directly to you.
- Educated to Master's degree level or holder of equivalent professional qualification.
- Strategic change and transformation professional qualification or evidenced comparable experience.
- Experience of leading a transformation team and running a PMO function for a large and complex organisation.
- Significant experience of leading service improvement projects and complex organisational wide change, whilst developing and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Demonstrable experience of successful business planning and development of robust business cases.
- Knowledge of improvement, lean, or other business process reengineering methodologies.
- Knowledge in the design and delivery of strategic transformation.
- Experience of leading and coaching teams, including recruitment and disciplinary issues, with the ability to motivate others to achieve organisational objectives.
- Effective negotiating, influencing, and networking skills with a wide range of individuals and groups.
