Seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the transformation of our IT function in a 100-user law firm. Reporting directly to the Board, you will develop and deliver the IT strategy, manage and develop the 3 IT staff, support the IT infrastructure, and foster a continuous improvement mentality in the team.

This is an opportunity to really make a difference and transform the way technology is delivered and supported at the firm, applying best practice methods and processes where needed.

Leadership:
  • Work closely with the board to agree and deliver the IT strategy and policies, within an agreed budget.
  • Manage and support the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, operating systems, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Manage the first- and second-line support team, acting as the escalation point for second- and third-line issues and fostering a customer-focused culture.
  • Manage and work closely with the Applications and Data Manager to deliver a joined-up IT service.
Service Management:
  • Ensure the IT service meets business goals and customer expectations.
  • Set and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service performance for continuous improvement.
ITIL Service Delivery:
  • Manage incident and problem resolution, supplier relationships, and service availability.
Customer Engagement:
  • Act as the main contact for IT issues, manage escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Project Management:
  • Develop and manage IT project plans.
  • Lead projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key technologies include MS Windows 10/11, MS Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Networking & Comms, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RDS Server, PowerShell, Microsoft 365 Administration, Entra, InTune, and various IT Security products.
