Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Ailsa Hospital. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a wide range of domestic services to support clinical services throughout Ayrshire and Arran, adhering to NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification and Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe, caring, and respectful environment.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment and maintain a high level of cleanliness in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Experience working with industrial cleaning equipment or in a healthcare setting (advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to upholding the values of NHS Scotland, including a culture of caring, safety, and respect.
