Key Responsibilities:

Panel Construction:
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to construct electrical control panels.

Component Placement:
Install and secure electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, terminals, and connectors within the panels.

Wiring and Connections:
Expertly wire control panels, adhering to specified wiring diagrams and routing protocols. Execute terminations and connections with precision and care.

Testing and Diagnostics:
Perform functional testing of completed panels to verify proper operation. Identify and resolve any wiring or assembly challenges as they occur.

Quality Control:
Comply with quality standards and procedures throughout the assembly process to uphold product integrity and reliability.

Documentation:

Keep detailed records of panel assembly activities, including component inventories, wiring diagrams, test outcomes, and any adjustments made during the assembly process.


Safety Standards:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment. Recognize and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical assembly tasks.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to achieve project timelines and quality goals. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and project coordination.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a panel technician or in a similar capacity within electrical manufacturing.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring methods, and terminations.
  • Competent in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot electrical challenges.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
