Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As a Site Based Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical reactive and preventative maintenance tasks as per appointment and competency.
  • Carry out electrical small works and installations as per appointment and competency.
  • Attend to reactive breakdowns and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Conduct annual and monthly emergency lighting checks.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly PPM checks within capability.
  • Take meter readings and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Ensure plant rooms, storerooms, and other areas are tidy and clear.
  • Perform water hygiene checks and ensure compliance with L8 regulations.
  • Carry out repairs to safety hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to control permits and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor stock and spares levels and report to the Supervisor.
  • Manage deliveries of items and ensure timely receipt.
  • Ensure all records are up to date and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical C&G Level 2 & 3 with AM2 (Essential).
  • Apprentice-trained Electrical Level 2 & 3.
  • 18th Edition (Essential).
  • C&G 2391 (Testing and Inspection) - (Desirable).
  • Water Hygiene L8 awareness.
  • Knowledge of M&E standards.
