The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's fast-paced production facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive maintenance to resolve equipment breakdowns and ensure production continuity
  • Carry out regular machine maintenance programs to minimize downtime and complete relevant paperwork
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with minimal impact on operations
  • Manage health and safety to ensure all engineering work meets quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Participate in project work, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new equipment
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 trained in electrical maintenance
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £48,500 per annum and a rotating shift pattern of 06:00am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm - 22:00pm, with some weekend work.
