Job Overview

The Business Solutions Consultant will be instrumental in managing multiple high-stakes projects, fostering professional relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and evaluate business requirements. This role will employ process mapping techniques such as Flowcharts, UML, and BPMN to analyze and document workflows. Additionally, the consultant will be tasked with data modeling to comprehend, organize, and manage information sequences using methodologies like Entity-Relationship and Data-Flow Diagrams. Responsibilities also include overseeing change management with technology dependencies, system mapping, impact analysis, monitoring, reporting, and integration planning.

Collaboration is essential in this position, as the Business Solutions Consultant will partner with senior management, project managers, development teams, end users, external partners, and regulatory entities to ensure that project requirements are accurately captured, understood, and fulfilled. The duties will support the successful execution of large-scale projects from inception to deployment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role that aligns with the responsibilities outlined above
  • Experience in mapping and modeling processes, data, and applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing teams and key stakeholders
  • Ability to create clear and testable requirements/user stories
  • Proficient in assessing, planning, and managing the impact of change within a business context
  • Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently when necessary
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Comfortable facilitating and organizing workshops
  • Excellent skills in data visualization and reporting
  • Adept at presenting information in a coherent, structured, and organized manner
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across various projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile
