Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Swimming Instructor to join our team at Leisure Focus Trust. As a Level 2 Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to adults and children of varying ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective swimming lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Hold a Swim England Level 2 or STA Full Swimming Instructor Qualification (or equivalent international qualification).
- Have experience in swimming teaching.
- Hold a recognized pool rescue award (preferable) or be able to obtain it within a set period.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
This is a self-employed position, and you will be required to work at various locations within the company. You will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to adapt to changes on shift.
