Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) service, you will work closely with our experienced multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to older adults with organic conditions such as dementia and behaviour that challenges.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with a focus on lifespan developmental psychology, psychopathology, and neuropsychology. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with complex mental health needs, as well as providing training and supervision to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with the following qualifications and experience:
- DClinPsy or DCounsPsy including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS
- HCPC Registration
