Mortgage Collections Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrears Account Management: Handle all arrears accounts, maintaining regular contact with customers and providing support where possible.
- Concession and Contract Review: Review concession and contract variation requests, providing accurate recommendations.
- Direct Debit Process: Carry out the unpaid Direct debit process on a monthly basis.
- Reporting and Compliance: Produce quarterly arrears statements and 2 month+ arrears letters in line with regulatory requirements.
- Complaint Handling: Handle complaints as they arise in line with company policy and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: At least 1 year experience working in a collections/arrears environment.
- Knowledge: Current mortgage lending legislation.
- Education: 5 GCSEs/O Levels A-C or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work to deadlines, provide excellent customer service.
