About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to achieve their potential and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide recovery-focused interventions through key working sessions and group work
  • Enable and prepare individuals to gain new skills and promote long-term recovery
  • Devising individually tailored support and risk management plans
  • Ensuring effective discharge planning
  • Working collaboratively with individuals to promote positive change and independence
Requirements
  • Experience in the mental health sector
  • Good understanding of the recovery model
  • Solution-focused attitude and person-centred approach
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to challenging situations
  • Empathy, understanding, and patience when working with individuals with differing needs and complexities
