We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our culinary team at Bradwell Court Residential Care Home. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals for our residents, promoting food safety and hygiene standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Chef Manager in preparing and cooking meals for residents
- Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including risk assessments and cleaning schedules
- Interact with residents, visitors, and colleagues in a friendly and approachable manner
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.97
- 26 hours of work available
