{"h3": "About the Role", "p": "We are seeking a skilled refrigeration engineer to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems at various sites in and around Exeter.

Your primary focus will be on dismantling, cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling refrigeration evaporators and other equipment. You will also identify and report problems, work to appropriate hygiene standards, and collaborate with the team to achieve project and company goals.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude. You will be required to travel to different sites, with occasional overnight stays, and mentor and oversee the work of a trainee.

If you have prior knowledge of refrigeration systems or the food industry, you will be at an advantage. However, we welcome applications from all experience levels.

Key Responsibilities:

* Dismantle, clean, disinfect, and reassemble refrigeration evaporators and other equipment.
* Identify and report problems.
* Work to the appropriate hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve project and company goals.
* Travel to different sites based in and around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required.
* Mentor and oversee the work of a trainee, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge.
* Coordinate with on-site customers to ensure their needs are met and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

* The role is open to all experience levels, although prior knowledge of refrigeration systems or the food industry is preferred.
* Must be able to take responsibility for the standard of your work with the ability to work unsupervised.
* Proven customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
* City and Guilds F-Gas qualification.
* IPAF certification (desirable but not essential).
* Level 2 NVQ Diploma in installing and maintaining refrigeration systems (desirable but not essential).
* Full UK driving licence.
