Salary Range: £96,963 - £128,841

Additional Distant Island Allowance: £1,279

Candidates must be registered with the GMC Specialist Register and possess a License to Practice, or be eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register within six months of the interview date. Your workplace will be the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, a modern 97-bed Rural General Hospital (Plus). Working on Scotland's largest island provides a unique opportunity to blend contemporary clinical practice with an unmatched lifestyle.

The position adheres to NHS Terms and Conditions of the New Consultant Grade (Scotland) 2004, requiring 10 (8 DCC + 2 SPAs) PAs per week, with the possibility of up to 2 EPAs weekly and an 8% availability allowance, contingent upon an agreed job plan. The on-call rota is set at 1:2.
