We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team in Leeds Trinity. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and service excellence, managing a team of sales assistants, and making commercial decisions to benefit the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team: Manage a large team of sales assistants to achieve high levels of sales and service.
- Customer centric: Ensure the team interacts with customers at all times, providing a positive shopping experience.
- Commercial decisions: Make decisions that benefit the store, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Performance management: Manage the performance of all sales assistants, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Operational excellence: Focus on delivery and productivity, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Recruitment and training: Recruit, induct, and train a team to focus on sales and adding value to the sales process.
- Business acumen: Understand business performance and react to areas that are underperforming.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales and service excellence.
- Leadership skills: Ability to lead and manage a team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Commercial awareness: Understanding of commercial decisions and their impact on the business.
- Operational skills: Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
