As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at SugarCRM, you will be an integral member of a vibrant team of QA professionals, playing a crucial role in our quality assurance initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating the resolution of any challenges faced by the QA team, while also enhancing, innovating, and guiding QA and testing methodologies within an agile framework.

Collaborate with your colleagues to establish and drive the QA and testing policy, strategy, and roadmap, which encompasses System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Quality Assurance for all our software applications, platforms, and integrations.

Ensure the excellence of our web, mobile, and API software solutions.
Guarantee that test coverage is sufficient to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Continuously enhance automation coverage across our applications, platforms, and integrations to minimize the need for manual testing.

Focus on elevating the overall quality of testing, which will lead to a decrease in production issues resulting from changes, while also establishing an effective Defect Management process.

Oversee and implement corrective actions to ensure that all relevant testing standards and procedures are defined and adhered to, including the adoption of the appropriate Test Strategy for the specific development methodology.

Engage with engineers, business analysts, and designers to tackle intriguing and complex challenges in delivering scalable technology solutions globally.

Review and enforce appropriate governance, ensuring that all deliverables for products and projects are tested in line with the testing policy, while monitoring all phases of the development lifecycle, including systems testing, user acceptance testing, and release testing.

Design, enhance, and develop comprehensive end-to-end and performance test automation.
Stay informed about emerging testing mechanisms, tools, and strategies that can be integrated within best practices.
Measure and report on progress and quality, generating performance reports against required KPIs.
Identify new KPIs to support quality improvement initiatives.

Given the collaborative nature of this role, we are particularly interested in candidates who are located in proximity to our operational areas.

Candidates with relevant experience or job titles such as Test Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Technician, Repairs Technician, Converting Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, or Electrical Technician may also be considered for this position.
