We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant & Transport Administrator to join our team at Walton Civil Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of plant and vehicle allocation, hiring long-term equipment, and coordinating defects with suppliers.
Additionally, the role will involve ensuring adequate stock of PPE, tools, and consumables on site, as well as providing backup for vehicle maintenance and general administration duties.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of plant and vehicle allocation
- Hire long-term equipment as needed
- Coordinate defects with suppliers
- Ensure adequate stock of PPE, tools, and consumables on site
- Provide backup for vehicle maintenance
- Perform general administration duties
- Strong IT knowledge and organizational abilities
- Ability to work from our Shepton Mallet depot (CAT B driving license as a minimum)
- No remote working available
- Proactive and detail-oriented individual
- Long-term role with opportunities for career progression

- 30 days paid holiday per annum (increasing to 35 days after 5 years of service)
