General Summary:
Our Maintenance Operatives undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture building and furniture removals, grounds and site clearance and keeping areas clean and tidy generally, as well as being responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings and building systems. They can work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks.

Primary Duties:

- Inspect machinery, equipment, buildings and systems, including heating ventilation and air conditioning.
- Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire door alignment and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Performing grounds maintenance such as replacing interior and exterior lights
- Maintaining tools and equipment used during day to day operations.
- Install equipment and appliances.
- Comply with all company safety regulations.
- Complete pool plant operations as required.
- Complete repairs on equipment, fixtures, fittings and building systems.
- Respond to reports of broken or faulty items e.g. leaky taps, broken window or fixing locks.
- Liaising with external specialists or contractors.
- Following a maintenance schedule to ensure all routine tasks are completed.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in maintenance (ideal)
- Previous experience in repairs
- Previous experience with a public facing role
- Previous experience with electrical work
- Previous experience with plumbing

**Education**:

- GCSE Math pass or equivalent
- GCSE English pass or equivalent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
