We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Adviser to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to our schools and stakeholders, supporting the delivery of positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert HR advice and guidance on complex staffing issues, including employee relations, reward, resourcing, and training development.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, trade unions, and other stakeholders to ensure HR advice supports delivery of positive outcomes.
- Provide guidance to line managers on how to manage potential ER issues at the informal stage, promoting good people management practices across the organisation.
- Support and undertake casework on a wide range of human resources issues, including discipline, capability, absence, and grievance.
- Prepare settlement agreement paperwork and undertake any necessary follow-up case actions.
- Experience of advising on and supporting restructures, redundancies, TUPE, and re-deployment, as well as good knowledge of ET processes.
- Experience of working in a unionised environment and building positive and productive relationships with unions.
- Experience of providing high-quality professional HR advice and guidance on complex employment issues.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
The role is hybrid, with most work being done from home and occasional attendance at meetings in schools. The postholder will need to be flexible and able to work outside of standard hours on occasion.
