Ashby Jenkins Recruitment is delighted to be working with the Bookmark Reading Charity as they seek an exceptional Senior Philanthropy Lead to join their team. Our client is a small but growing organization with a clear vision: to provide every child with access to reading materials.
Job Summary
The Senior Philanthropy Lead will be responsible for leading and inspiring a high-growth team focused on income generation from major donors, trusts, and foundations. This role requires a strong understanding of complex relationship-based fundraising from high-net-worth individuals and grant-making organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team in high-value fundraising and donor acquisition
- Develop and manage performance, nurturing a culture of excellence
- Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to identify, cultivate, and steward major gifts from existing and prospective donors
Requirements
- Proven track record in high-value fundraising and donor acquisition
- Experience leading a team, with a focus on development and performance management
- Exceptional understanding of complex relationship-based fundraising
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £48,000 - £50,000
- A hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days per week in the office
