Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Collaborate with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a Children's Residential Home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
