Job Description

Role Overview

This is a rare opportunity to lead our policy on protecting consumers from fraud, a prevalent crime in the UK. As a Senior Policy Strategist, you will develop and champion policy positions in digital areas, influencing government and business for the best outcomes for consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive strategy for digital policy areas, including fraud prevention and consumer protection.
  • Lead key policy projects, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Develop robust evidence-based policy solutions, commissioning research and consulting with legal resources.
  • Work with award-winning investigation teams, writers, and campaign and political affairs experts.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable fraud experience, with a proven track record of leading policy influence projects.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, including policy advisers, economists, researchers, campaigners, legal, journalists, and more.
  • Good understanding of the digital policy landscape, including the UK digital regulatory landscape and data protection regime.
