Position Summary
We are in search of a skilled Credit Risk Strategy Analyst to formulate credit risk methodologies that align with customer growth objectives while ensuring profitability. This position requires leveraging data analytics to tackle diverse business challenges related to credit risk and pricing, providing valuable insights into portfolio performance and market trends. Reporting directly to the Credit Risk Strategy Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance credit strategies and uncover opportunities through sophisticated analytical methods.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, oversee, and refine credit strategies throughout the customer journey, tailored to specific product objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineering and product development teams to streamline credit decision-making processes.
- Engage with commercial teams to incorporate credit risk considerations into new product offerings.
- Evaluate customer profitability to develop effective pricing strategies.
- Improve business performance tracking to identify potential risks and enhance credit strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in credit strategy for high-volume credit products, including Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, and micro SME financing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with R, SAS, Python, or SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Econometrics.
- In-depth understanding of the credit lifecycle and strong business acumen.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
