Your Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive playtesting to detect and report linguistic errors.
  • Verify that in-game text is linguistically precise and culturally relevant.
  • Adhere to established LQA protocols and standards to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Generate detailed bug reports utilizing industry-standard databases.
  • Take responsibility for bugs to ensure they are resolved effectively.
  • Become proficient in LQA testing across various gaming projects.
  • Develop and implement test cases, and assist in gathering test requirements.
  • Pursue continuous improvement and efficiency in your tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with the QA team.
Performance Indicators:
  • Accuracy and quality of bug reports.
  • Timeliness in task completion.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Knowledge and application of LQA methodologies.

Qualifications:

You are an ideal candidate if you:
  • Are fluent in Norwegian and possess strong English language skills.
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for video games.
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and manage pressure effectively.
  • Exhibit proactivity, determination, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Are skilled in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Familiarity with LQA testing tools and CAT software.
  • Understanding of the video game industry.
  • A background in linguistics is advantageous.
