Financial Accountant - Interim Role

Cedar is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team on an interim basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing management accounts for a portfolio of UK companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare management accounts for a portfolio of UK companies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Ensure ledger accounts and subsidiary accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Analyze costs, revenues, and financial commitments to project future expenses and income.
  • Manage month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Manage cash flow through weekly payment runs and financial forecasting.
  • Support the preparation of KPIs and financial dashboards for business insights.
  • Promote best practices to standardize processes and drive operational efficiency.

About the Role:

This is an interim contract position, with a competitive day rate ranging from £250 to £300 (outside IR35). The role will be based in North West London, with all working time spent on site. The contract is initially offered for 3 months, with the potential to go permanent.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in financial accounting, with experience in managing financial records and preparing management accounts. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
