We also design and sustain tools that facilitate the delivery of high-quality code to these vehicles, and we utilize this expertise to generate virtual scenarios in the cloud, allowing us to assess the quality of our software on a large scale. As a key member of Oxa, you will gain a thorough understanding of the system's components and their interactions. In a leadership role, you will particularly focus on pinpointing areas for enhancement and driving strategic advancements to elevate our technical capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee, maintain, and deliver the strategic roadmaps for the initial Autonomy Concept.
- Ensure alignment of these roadmaps with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and leadership to discern customer needs and workflows.
- Organize and plan team activities, achieving milestones and business goals.
- Document and report team progress to uphold best practices.
- Engage with other teams to prioritize new features and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the Integration Lead with technical expertise and domain knowledge regarding autonomy product applications.
- Lead a cross-functional team in the field to:
- Operate, test, and debug our autonomy system end-to-end, ensuring customer-ready functionality.
- Identify essential product requirements for customer workflows and design testing scenarios that challenge our system.
- Evaluate software performance using cloud-based simulation tools to enhance our testing capabilities.
- Test innovative code and prepare foundational software versions for clients.
- Investigate and analyze data to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Drive strategic enhancements to improve technical capabilities and product quality.
- Maintain agility to address issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or similar complex robotic systems.
- Proven experience managing a team of engineers in product development or engineering services.
- History of fostering collaboration across engineering, commercial, marketing, sales, and other departments.
- Analytical mindset capable of navigating a fast-paced, complex environment to identify engineering needs and resolve challenges.
- Strong stakeholder communication and risk management skills across multiple domains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey progress, risks, challenges, and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly analytical with the ability to make informed decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data to guide engineering design, development, and operations.
- Ability to transition between contexts quickly while maintaining focus and delivering across multiple workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in bringing a product to market.
- PMP Certification.
- MBA.
