We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated cardiac matron to join our nursing leadership team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Role

As a cardiac matron, you will be responsible for providing professional and clinical leadership to the nursing staff across the directorate, with a focus on designated areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines
  • Contribute to business planning and service improvements
  • Lead on infection control strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient care goals
Requirements
  • Post-registration qualification in cardiology or cardiovascular nursing
  • Significant experience at Band 7 or above in a related specialty
  • Project management skills and experience
  • IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
