Job Title: Technical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Assistant to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and repair of plant and equipment, including fixtures and fittings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate all building services, ensuring the smooth operation of our leisure centres.
  • Perform preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and repairs to plant and equipment, including wet and dry side plant rooms.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with non-technical users, providing excellent customer service.
  • Be flexible and willing to work at weekends and overnight as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role or industry, with a general maintenance/repair skill set.
  • Knowledge of spa pool operations and minor plumbing or electrical repairs is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel across sites.
