Job Description: Painter and Decorator

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Painters to join our client's team. This reputable company specializes in delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to both residential and commercial clients. They are committed to professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service, always striving to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by thoroughly cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
  • Apply primer, paint, and other finishes using brushes and rollers with precision.
  • Repair and restore damaged or weathered surfaces, including filling cracks and holes and replacing damaged trim to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Install wallpaper according to client preferences, demonstrating expertise in various techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, demonstrating a strong understanding of various preparation and painting techniques and finishes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different project requirements.
  • A positive and professional attitude towards work, contributing to a productive and collaborative environment.
  • Desirable: Valid driving license and current CSCS card.
