The role of Community Justice Assistant is available within the Right Track Outreach Program, focusing on young individuals aged 16-26 who are navigating the justice system.
This position involves working closely with young people as part of a structured program aimed at supporting their rehabilitation and personal development.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering social work services to individuals under statutory orders or licenses, ensuring compliance with national standards and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outreach support to young individuals, assisting them in stabilizing their lives through various means.
- Collaborate with the Right Track Coordinator to develop personalized growth plans for each participant.
- Facilitate access to essential appointments, including medical, employment, and housing services.
- Conduct home visits and outreach activities across the designated area, ensuring engagement with young people who may be challenging to reach.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of working with youth in challenging circumstances.
The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of maintaining accurate records, and proficient in basic IT skills.
A commitment to professional development and a willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role, as travel within the community is necessary.
