Agile Transformation Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency repairs and routine maintenance of emergency and non-emergency vehicles. This includes servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles from ambulance and non-ambulance service vehicles to light commercial and Heavy Goods vehicles and cars from various manufacturers.
Main Duties- Carry out repair and maintenance work on a range of items of Trust equipment, requiring specialized training/accreditation such as all stretcher equipment (mechanical/hydraulic), easy load stretchers, hydraulic Falcon stretchers, and to include all makes and types of carrying equipment and securing systems.
- Repair and maintain electrical equipment on vehicles such as audio/visual warning systems and power supplies up to specialized equipment in saloons, repairs to winches and generators, radios, decontamination units and trailers, and where applicable Police vehicles.
- Be prepared for all future developments and modifications.
- City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ3 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent.
- Accreditation in relevant manufacturers' training courses and Certification of Competence as detailed in job description i.e. Mercedes, Renault, Ferno stretchers, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant vehicle specifications and equipment.
- Auto Electrical, Welding and Fabrication techniques and procedures.
- Good knowledge of Fleet Workshop policies, procedures and practices.
- Preparation and repair work to MOT specification.
- Service, maintain and repair specialist equipment.
- Able to work on own or as part of a team, with minimum supervision.
- Able to diagnose faults and causes.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Good physical co-ordination and manual dexterity.
- Written, digital and verbal communication skills to convey information and complete all necessary documentation accurately to comply with audit requirements.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
