Programme Management Specialist - INSIDE IR35 - Up to £35.03 per hour

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Programme Management Specialist to work on a contract basis for 12 months with a major client based in the UK. The role involves working on Ramp Up Governance and/or key Enablement Projects, with a focus on Product Change Management, Change Control & MOD Implementation, Integrated Planning, Ramp-up & Capex, and RC & Business Performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure VSM projects are supported with strong Project Management Expertise and appropriate Project & Programme Management structure, governance, and practices are applied.
- Work with VSM project leaders and project organisation on a day-to-day basis.
- Raise awareness and acceptance of best practice project management within the VSM teams by coaching and providing awareness sessions, challenging project leaders where needed.
- Shape methods and tools in accordance with PM standards to meet the needs of the project/activity.
- Support efficient communication and stakeholder management, ensuring activities are aligned with interfacing projects and operations.
- Promote Agile WoW and act as Scrum Master for project activities where needed.
- Establish E2E project plans and control all changes versus the initial baseline.
- Identify associated Earned Value Management (EVM) milestones and project critical paths.
- Track performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyse project information to anticipate deviations from target and propose preventive/corrective actions to support project-level decision making.
- Provide clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
- Drive the Risk & Opportunity Management process in line with the existing R&OM plan.
- Own the associated R&O register and regularly provide the Project Leader & A320 Family Risk Officer with the current risk and opportunity status.

Requirements:

- Strong project management expertise and experience in programme management.
- Ability to work with project leaders and project organisation on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to shape methods and tools in accordance with PM standards.
- Experience in promoting Agile WoW and acting as Scrum Master for project activities.
- Ability to establish E2E project plans and control changes versus the initial baseline.
- Experience in tracking performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to analyse project information and propose preventive/corrective actions.
- Experience in providing clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
- Ability to drive the Risk & Opportunity Management process in line with the existing R&OM plan.
