About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team at Horsenden Primary School. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a successful 'Learn to Swim' programme to our Seahorse Swim School clients.

About the School:

Horsenden Primary School is a larger than average school with fantastic facilities, including a swimming pool. We are a good school where inclusion is at the heart of what we do.

What We Offer:

The Swim School is run as part of the Primary School and is supported by an experienced Headteacher and Leadership team. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver swimming lessons to pupils, following the ASA learn to swim programme
  • Work collaboratively with other Swimming Instructors to achieve programme goals
  • Carry out administrative duties to support the smooth running of the swim school

Requirements:

  • Qualified to a minimum of ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics or ASA Level 2 Certificate for Coaching Swimming
  • Ideal candidate will be teacher water safety qualified
  • Passionate and experienced Swimming Instructor with a track record of working well with small groups and whole classes
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve outcomes for pupils
